The Astraeus Galactic Archive is both the canonical record of the Astraeus Frontier universe and an institution within that universe. Established before the peoples of Astraeus separated, the Order of the Galactic Archive exists independently of every government, military, and political power.

The Archive observes and preserves the historical record through its own independent network. It accepts no intelligence requests, provides no communication between factions, and will not release information to one civilization that could reveal the activities, capabilities, or discoveries of another.

What you are permitted to access reflects what the civilizations of Astraeus Frontier could reasonably know at that point in history. The Archive may know more. It simply isn't telling you yet.
